Development of your VR application

It is managed using a signed Statement of Work (SOW). Here is an example.

The SOW documents what you need, how much it will cost to develop, how long it will take, and the acceptance criteria you will use to confirm that what we have delivered works for you. We sign the SOW to make it a binding contract.

Most civilian drop zones cost approximately $US800 to develop the required software and take about four weeks to deliver.  Military applications are more complex because of the aircraft type, higher exit altitudes, avatar, equipment, and team flying dynamics.

Typically, half is due upon signing the SOW, with the remainder due upon signed acceptance.

Factors to consider for the scope of your SOW are:

• Details of your Dropzone in virtual reality for training purposes. Our standard DZ has several 3D jumpers that have landed in the landing area to help your students comprehend their height on their final approach and act as obstacles to avoid. We can add other 3D items like buildings, trees, or taxiing aircraft to the SOW if you want them included in virtual reality.
• Additional drop zones in VR you may want to use to help drum up business. This DZ may be a local location of interest or an attraction that users can use to experience the fun of flying their virtual parachute. An example is flying around the Eiffel Tower, which the French Parachute Federation commissioned for use from their booth in the Olympic Village during the Paris Olympics.
• Working windsock location(s).
• The coordinates of the center of your landing area.
• Exit altitude: The higher you exit, the more work it takes for us to develop the virtual environment needed to provide a realistic and enjoyable experience.
• Do you want it to work without needing to be connected to the internet?  As defined in the SOW, you must regularly connect the app to the internet.
