Hardware Requirements
Canopy Pilot provides virtual teaching/learning capabilities with our proprietary one-on-one training application. Students can train using a PC only, or enhance the experience using VR Goggles at home or at any of our customer locations.
The hardware requirements necessary to properly experience our Canopy Pilot application are below.
PC (Only)
- Windows 10 operating system
- Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 470/570 or greater
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or greater
- Memory: 8GB
- Video Output: HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 (may vary based on specific headset)
- USB Port: 1x USB 3.0
- OS: Windows 10 (Note: Not supported on N versions or Windows 10 Pro in S Mode)
- Bluetooth Some headsets require Bluetooth 4.0 for controller connectivity
PC only allows you to control the parachute with gamepad controller or keyboard

We also offer one on one streaming applications for students on any PC or Mac
VR Headsets
Any off-the-shelf VR goggles (consumer & business) that can connect to a PC and support the openXR platform should be compatible with Canopy Pilot. Use of the correct drivers is required.
