Hardware Requirements

Canopy Pilot provides virtual teaching/learning capabilities with our proprietary one-on-one training application. Students can train using a PC only, or enhance the experience using VR Goggles at home or at any of our customer locations.

 

The hardware requirements necessary to properly experience our Canopy Pilot application are below.

PC (Only)

  • Windows 10 operating system
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 470/570 or greater
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or greater
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Video Output: HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 (may vary based on specific headset)
  • USB Port: 1x USB 3.0
  • OS: Windows 10 (Note: Not supported on N versions or Windows 10 Pro in S Mode)
  • Bluetooth Some headsets require Bluetooth 4.0 for controller connectivity

PC only allows you to control the parachute with gamepad controller or keyboard

Cloud Based PC

Any cloud-based PC is recommended

We also offer one on one streaming applications for students on any PC or Mac

VR Headsets 

Any off-the-shelf VR goggles (consumer & business) that can connect to a PC and support the openXR platform should be compatible with Canopy Pilot.  Use of the correct drivers is required.
